I am your local State Farm Insurance Agent and have been serving Dahlonega since 1995 for Auto, Home & Life Insurance. I was born in Atlanta and am a lifelong Georgia resident who is proud to call Dahlonega, Georgia home. I graduated from the University of Georgia and am a big Bulldog fan. I have 38 years of experience in the insurance business, a 24-year State Farm Honor Club award winner, 20 time State Farm Legion of Honor Qualifier, Crystal Honor Club for the past 5 years and Ambassador Club Travel qualifier. I currently serve as a member of the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Development Authority Board, Past President of the Dahlonega Rotary Club, Past Chair of NOA (No One Alone), Past Chair of the Dahlonega Arts Council, and Past Chair of the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce. I am a proud supporter of the Lumpkin County Varsity Football and TLC Humane Society. My office has over 75 years of combined experience and would love to help you with your personal and business insurance.

Hi, my name is Joy Martin. I joined Donna's team January 2019 but have been a State Farm Team Member since September 2002. I joined Donna's team when my former agent of over 36 years retired. I enjoy helping our customers understand how insurance works for them in their individual situations and circumstances.

My husband David and I married in December 2018. Between the two of us, we have 4 daughters & sons-in-law and 13 grandchildren that keep us very busy! Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with family whether it is at a ball field, school performance or just hanging out and grabbing a bite to eat.

Beyond my time with Donna Minnich State Farm, I am a student at the University of North Georgia. I currently am earning a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in criminal justice. I am also the current Vice President of Recruitment for my sorority, Sigma Kappa. I am an active member of Dahlonega Baptist Church and currently serve in the Children’s Ministry for 6+ years. I grew up locally within Dahlonega, and am grateful for my parents providing prime examples on how to engage and give back to the community I reside in. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my parents, working on my Wrangler, and spending time with my sorority sisters. I grew up around vehicles, thanks to my dad, and I love to hear about your classic cars & trucks. I am obsessed with my Wrangler, and love to engage with customers when they have a similar vehicle! I always like to give our customers with Jeeps a duck to take with them.
